Coriander chutney

Green chutney is a quick and easy accompaniment to wraps, sandwiches or as a dip.If you've got some cottage cheese, you could marinate it with this chutney and make some tikkas. The possibilities are endless provided you have the chutney! Here's the recipe.

Recipe for Coriander Chutney:

Ingredients:

Coriander Leaves 40 gms
Young Coriander Stalk 10 gms
Green chilli 1
Salt 1/2 tsp
Sugar A pinch
Lemon Juice 1 tsp
Water 1-2 tsp

How to make Coriander Chutney:

1.Chuck all the ingredients into a grinder and make a fine paste.

*If you don't have young stalks, substitute them with coriander leaves instead.Old stalks have tough fibres and hence won't breakdown into a fine paste.

This chutney will stay well in the refrigerator for about a week in an airtight container.
